Centerline Butterfly Valve BV124
What is a Centerline Butterfly Valve?
A centerline butterfly valve, also known as a resilient-seated butterfly valve, is widely used in water systems for flow regulation and isolation. The BV124 model is designed with a concentric disc and seat arrangement, ensuring tight shutoff in both flow directions and optimal performance in large-diameter pipeline applications.
Working Principle
The BV124 butterfly valve operates by rotating a disc 90 degrees within the valve body to open or close flow. The disc remains in the centerline of the valve, while the seat, vulcanized into the body, provides a reliable seal as the disc compresses against it. This design allows for minimal pressure loss and dependable sealing under various pressure conditions.
Product Overview
The BV124 Centerline Butterfly Valve is made from ductile iron FCD45 and features dual flange ends for secure pipeline integration. Suitable for clean water applications, it offers enhanced durability, dual-direction sealing, and versatile material options for the disc including ductile iron, stainless steel, or aluminum bronze.
