1.Remove the Dust Caps
First, remove the dust cap from the pilot valve.
Then, unscrew the dust cap from the angle valve.
2.Check the Inlet Pressure
The current inlet pressure of the pressure relief valve is 8 bar.
3.Open the Reverse Angle Valve
Use a flathead screwdriver to turn the reverse angle valve to the open position.
4.Adjust the Pilot Valve
Using a hex wrench, turn the pilot valve bolt counterclockwise to adjust the relief pressure.
5.Monitor the Pressure Gauge
Observe the gauge reading on the relief valve and adjust it to the desired relief pressure for the pipeline.
6.Secure the Adjustment
Once the pressure is set, tighten the pilot valve bolt locking nut to secure the setting.
7.Reinstall and Verify
Reinstall the dust caps and check the pressure gauge to confirm the set pressure.
8.Final Confirmation
The relief pressure is now set to 5 bar.
When the inlet pressure drops below 5 bar, the relief valve will automatically close.
