Axial Flow Check Valve

Introduction

The Axial Flow Check Valve (Model: BV415) is a silent, non-slam check valve designed specifically for clean water and water-related systems. Constructed with a streamlined flow-guided disc and a soft-sealing structure, this valve offers reliable backflow prevention with minimal pressure loss. It is particularly suited for applications where water hammer must be effectively eliminated. This product is not suitable for seawater or media containing solid particles, such as sand or stones.

Working Principle

The axial flow check valve operates by utilizing the flow of the medium to push the centrally guided disc forward, allowing smooth passage of water with minimal resistance. When the flow stops or reverses, the spring-assisted disc quickly returns to its closed position, sealing against the EPDM seat and preventing backflow. The axial and symmetrical flow path, combined with the shock-absorbing design, ensures quiet operation and excellent protection against water hammer.
